Licq 1.3.5-rc3

Licq 1.3.5 release candidate 3 is now available. Please give it a good testing. If no major regressions are discovered we'll release the final version next week.

Get it from the usual place: as tarball or from subversion

Changes since rc2:

  • Version is now set to 1.3.5.
  • Fixed some memory leaks.
  • Deactivated debug code for detecting deadlocks.
  • Fixed window stickiness.
  • Replaced the emoticon theme FeltTip3 with FeltTip4. FeltTip4 has more icons and a more GPL friendly license.
  • Display a text string in the popup info if we're waiting for contact authorization.
  • Fix to allow floaties for non-ICQ contacts.
  • Updated translations.

The full release notes contains all changes for 1.3.5.

Licq 1.3.5-rc2

As planned, rc2 is now available. Get it from LicqDownload (or from svn http://svn.licq.org/svn/tags/licq-1_3_5_rc2/). Changes since rc1 include:

  • Translation updates (Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish, German).
  • Fixed build failure on FreeBSD.
  • Made Send button be clickable with Enter keypress.
  • Made all message type icons fall back to standard message type icon.
  • Fixed crash upon changing auto-response (#1560).

If everything goes according to plan, rc3 will be released in one week and 1.3.5 in two.
