Licq splits *every* message I send thru server

No matter how long my message is, the message is split up. It often just omits the last word from the message and then tells me to send it separately, but most of the time it just takes off the last character and asks me to send that character later, and I never do because it's so silly. It didn't use to do this. It used to do this when my messages were over a certain length, which was right, but now it does it for every single message I send. It's embarrassing. My friends are always waiting for the last word, and don't understand why my messages are always split up. I've got version 0.85 with SSL. I haven't installed version 1.0 yet because you don't have a Mandrake RPM for it yet and I don't feel like compiling it myself.

I've seen this behaviour also - seems to stop in 1.0 ;-)
