Description

When i change a type of message to be sent to user it

used: licq 1.0.3 in SuSE 7.2, KDE 2.2 and 2.1

by the way: it would be nice if during start licq

would check if a process cat ~/.licq/licq.pid is actually running, cause i tired to wipe it every time it crashes :-)

I've got the same problem with licq 1.0.3 in RedHat? 7.1, KDE 2.1. I didn't use the rpm to install it but I compiled licq myself with ui-qt 1.0.3.

The KDE crash handler gives the following output: Program terminated with signal ?, Unknown signal. The program no longer exists.

In the console it returns the following message: KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2 KCrash: Application Name = licq path = <unknown>

Can you give a little more detail on what exactly you are doing to casue this? I'm having trouble replicating it.

I right-click on the name I want te sent a message to in the main-window or the floaty and select Send->Send message. Then I get a box where I can type my message, but when I want to change my message-type to URL, chat-request, file-transfer or contact-list within this box LICQ crashes.

backtrace: Program terminated with signal ?. The program no longer exists.
