Invalid login sequence being performed

With the current SVN version, we are not getting the necessary capabilities from other users. This indicates an error in the login sequence, or something missing. There are no immediate errors, other than client detection may not work properly. However, this should be fixed to:

1. Conform with the protocol
2. Assist with further implementation of other parts of the protocol

I don't know what it means - can I do something so that it works or do I have to wait for an newer Version of licq? (I got problems seeing the client the persons in my contact list use...)
