When i trying to delete a contact from my contact list it is not actually deleted, but moved to General group. It seems like licq cannot syncronize contacts with a server or cannot remember contacts database locally, like Miranda-IM does =)

Some contacts are appearing twice: in their native groups and in the General group.

Hm, I cannot reproduce this, using the current SVN version. Can you have a look at the network status window, what it prints out when you delete a contact? I just deleted a contact, and it did permanently disappear. The network window should say something like "Removing xxx from server side contact list".
