Crash upon adding a user from Search User dialog

I am trying to add an UIN to my client, and a popup window with this message was encountered:

Yes, I confirm the bug, it will be fixed in 1.3.6.

Until then you'll have to make sure that the user you are about to add is not present in your contact list. (E.g. "View Info" button adds a temporary user, you will have to delete it beforehand.)

It was fixed for qt4-gui some time ago. And added a workaround in qt-gui. Closing this ticket as fixed.
