Description

I use LICQ 1.2.0 coming with Mandrake 9.0. When I using LICQ as root, everything works fine, but when I try to start LICQ as a user, I get the following error messages:

[WRN] Licq: Ignoring stale lockfile (pid 2011)

Loading required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2 fcntl: Bad file descriptor fcntl: Bad file descriptor Licq Segmentation Violation Detected. Backtrace: /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0 [0x40128e55] Attempting to generate core file. How could I get LICQ starting, logged in as a user? Thanx Andreas andreas.seel@…

hi, i had the same problem. i removed the licq rpms and installed it again... the rpms from the mandrake 9.0 cds... that worked for me... think it's a problem with mandrake.

Change the style in KDE from the default style to another one (Keramik, High Color)... this is some problem with Mandrake 9.
