Sending SMS fails

Description

May be it is my own fault, but when I try to send a sms to someone I always get:

SMS [Sende über Server...fehlgeschlagen]

or in English:

SMS [Sent ... failed]

The number for cellular is formatted like this: +49 (172) 1234567 SMS

I tried to remove "SMS" at the end, but that doesn't work for me, too. Which is the right number-format for sending SMS to German cellulars? When I tried to send a SMS to the same cellular-number by using a Windows ICQ-Client, it worked just fine. I'm behind a masquerading gateway, but the gateway forwards the following ports to my PC:

2000 - 2019 4000

Is there probably any port missing, which is needed by ICQ to send SMS (and filetransfers, too)

(there are even much more Ports forwarded, but they are

for special services like directly ssh to my PC).

Waiting for some helping hint...

Sven

When I try to send the sms to the same person using Windows-ICQ it works... I have D2, too. And I have had no problems receiving ICQ-SMS sent by the Windows-ICQ. I tried to sent to O2-Customers (0179) and D2-Customers (0172, 0173, 0174), I don't have any D1-Customer (0171,0170 ...) as a friend :-(

I just tried it again in Windows-ICQ and what shall I tell you: "Cellular Network currently not available"... hmpf... I looked up the "Available Networks"... hmm... in Germany seems only T-Mobil to be a partner of ICQ. That's not nice. But I know it worked in former days. Bad luck...

Perhaps it would be better, if LICQ responds to the user with a similiar message, as the windows-client, so the user would know, why his SMS wasn't sent.

Thanks for your answer...
