Description

Hi!

I'm using 1.2.6, and when I try to delete a person from my contact list, licq pops up a window with a mesage:

[ERR] Unknown error modifying server list: 0x0A

ps. and I think You could make a lot of people happy, if you could make the docking work :) just an idea

Thanks!

Does the uesr reappear on your local list after you reconnect to the ICQ server?

Also, docking works fine. If you are having problems, post a message to licq-main@… about your problem(s).

Yes, when I reconnect to the icq server, the user reappear.

One more comment. While I'm connected to the server and I delete a user, it disappears, and licq acts like normal. After I restart licq, the deleted user is not in the local list. After I connect to the icq server, the previously deleted user's icq number appears on the contact list, and get an error message: [ERR] Unknown error modifying server list: 0x0A

I hope this clears the problem enough. Thanks!

I had simmilar problem, and in my case it was probably caused by having that user also in visible list. When removing from visible list and then removing user, it doesn't appear again.

I forgot to mention, that I also use 1.2.6...

And what kind of docking do you mean? Just apt-get install licq-plugin-kde and docking in kde works, docking in wmaker is working with other plugins...

I'm still having this problem with 1.2.7 The error message appears whene i make an update in the user-info dialog. I also realised, that the server-side-list has only a couple of my users in the groups (connectet to icq via go.icq.com and there are only 10 of 40 contacts).

this is a bug in the code for handling additional user info lists (inivisible, visible etc.). You can workaround the bug by removing the user from all additional lists first and then remove the user from your contact list.

Anyway, we should support these additional user info a better way.

This is fixed in the latest CVS version of Licq. It will be included in the next release, or you may use the CVS version. Read http://www.licq.org/daily.php
