app freezes while opening message window

using 1.2.7/SSL stable

licq freezes whenever someone sends me a message containing a word with many characters. even when i kill and restart licq the problem remains everytime i try to open the message window to read this "bad" message, so i have to edit the user's history file and remove the last lines...

can you please give us a real example? a sample of such buggy history file would be helpful, please can you attach a tar.gz'ed version of such history to this bug?

Which QT Version are you using? With current QT versions i can reproduce a high CPU load, and with really big messages (several thousand characters on one line without any space) it takes up to 20 seconds till anything happens, but at least it does not freeze.
