Url between " " doesn't works

If you try to paste an url, for example http://www.tin.it the other people receive the link as hyperlink (classic url underline that you can click to access the page). Assume that you works on an script (awk, wget, perl or whatever you want) and is mandatory put some " " into. If you do this, the other man will get an " only without seeing the entire url. For example, try this: wget -O tmp.html "http://www.slackware.com/security/list.php?l=slackware-security&y=2004"
