Docking - window not restored!

Hi! when you minimize licq and then dock it, the window won't be restored. in kmail it works, when undocking the window is always restored! One thing more: i use cp-1252 because only there all chars work. iso-8859-1/15 is not bad either, but it can't send or read the euro-symbol (?)!

As you're also talking about kmail, i guess you're using kde-gui (which is qt-gui with kde support enabled). Which version of licq are you using? 1.2.7? or are you using a recent CVS version? please upgrade to 1.3.0 RC1 or to recent CVS. when you click on the licq-icon to restore the window, it will restore the previous state, that means it will restore the minimized window. after restoring from the dock, please look at your tray, doesn't the licq window appear in form of a minimized app?

emostar told me on irc that he sees the same behaviour when using noatun. yet i think this is a bug (either KDE's or licq/noatun's)

of course it does! but i'd like licq to be restored when i click on the icon! not the previous status because when it's minized i'd like to have it restored after a click on the dock icon!

yes it does, but i'd like to have it restored (maximized) wenn i undock it! if i undock it, i don't need it minimized!! just like gaim, you click on the systray you'll have the app either hidden (in the tray) or showed on the desktop but not minimized!!

it sure does appear minimized in the tray if it was minimized before docking but we do not want that. or is it possible to make this configurable? it does not only annoy me and my gf, but also another friend of mine. (me + gf = 1.3.0, friend = 1.2.7).
