Troubles with original AOL ICQ

When smb I chat with cuts and pastes texts from any program except for Windows NotePad? and then writes smth by himself, the message i receive contains that cut&pasted text in Unicode and the other part of the message (the one he had written himself) looks ok(cp1251).
