chat window keeps blinking

Description

With the option "Blink on new message", the blinking used to disappear once the chat window got the focus. With 1.3.2, it keeps blinking forever seemingly. In fact, every time the chat window focus changes, it starts blinking again, and after a few blinks the greenish blinking colorization remains.
