Verify tarball

The tarballs are signed with AndersOlofsson's GPG key. To verify the tarball you've downloaded:

  1. Download the signature file matching the file you downloaded (bz2 or gz).
  2. Save the .sign file in the same directory as the tarball.
  3. run gpg --verify <tarball>.sign (where <tarball> is e.g. licq-1.3.6.tar.bz2)

Debian packages

See LicqOnDebian for instructions on how to install Licq, including development snapshots, on Debian.

SuSE packages

The Licq packages (current 1.3.5) for all supported distributions (10.x) of SuSE Linux are available via Build Service. You can also add the repository, appropriate to the version of your dist, to your system and install Licq using YaST (smart, zyppper, or whatever you prefer).

MacOSX

Can somebody please provide a binary download? Universal Binary prefered. A darwinport "port" file would be nice, too.

Daily snapshot

You can download the current Licq snapshot.

Remember, this is a development version, so it might have new and untested features or contain bugs. It might not even compile, so use it at your own risk. Please join the Licq development mailinglist when you use the snapshots regularly. You should report problems with the snapshots or discuss feature requests/patches there.

If there is a problem with the snapshot itself, please tell Jon, or send a mail to licq-dev.
